Expect to find new opportunities

I’ve been part of the Siegfried family for nearly five years. My journey started in Zofingen, where I worked as an Analytical Project Lead after completing my PhD in chemistry. I was drawn to Siegfried because of its strong reputation as a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in the pharmaceutical industry. The structured environment, focus on quality, and opportunities for growth made it the ideal place to begin my career.

Recently, I transitioned to DINAMIQS, a Siegfried company specializing in viral vector development and manufacturing for gene therapy. Joining DINAMIQS was an opportunity to combine the best of two worlds—leveraging the structured experience I gained at Siegfried while immersing myself in the innovative and fast-paced world of a startup. The chance to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in gene therapy while building a new quality control lab from scratch was simply too exciting to pass up.

No two days are alike in my role as QC Manager. My primary focus is on establishing a state-of-the-art quality control laboratory that meets the rigorous standards of GMP. This involves setting up workflows, installing specialized equipment, and coordinating with various teams to ensure that everything runs smoothly. While the technical challenges keep me on my toes, the collaborative nature of our work stands out. Whether I’m aligning with colleagues on a new process or troubleshooting an issue, every day brings a mix of problem-solving, innovation, and teamwork.

My time at Siegfried has been a continuous journey of growth and development. Starting as an Analytical Project Lead, I gained not only invaluable experience in GMP standards and the cross-functional processes of pharmaceutical production, but also to adapt quickly and think critically. This foundation prepared me for the challenges in a startup environment at DINAMIQS. Transitioning from a more established role to a dynamic startup is a unique opportunity to broaden my skill set.

What I enjoy most about working at Siegfried—and now DINAMIQS—is the opportunity to make a real impact. Siegfried’s culture of collaboration and support empowers its employees to take ownership and drive change. At DINAMIQS, the same spirit prevails. I love being part of a small, driven team where every contribution matters, and our work directly supports innovative therapies that have the potential to change lives.

Looking ahead, I’m most excited about the possibilities we’re creating at DINAMIQS. Setting up our new QC lab is just the beginning. With gene therapy at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation, the potential for new discoveries and advancements is immense. I’m eager to see how our efforts will help develop cutting-edge therapies for patients and to grow alongside a team that shares this vision.
