General information
Dobutamine is mainly used in case of heart failure increasing blood pressure and heart rate without vasoconstriction. Dobutamine works by stimulating beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart, leading to increased heart rate and contractility. It can also be used for stress testing agent to identify coronary artery disease.
