Expect to blossom
At Siegfried, there are plenty of exciting opportunities to pursue.
I joined Siegfried in 2014 as a commercial apprentice. After completing my three-year apprenticeship, I worked in the product chemist department to gain my first proper work experience after the apprenticeship. After a year, I was promoted to an assistant position to the Site Head Zofingen, Switzerland and Site Leadership Team. In both roles, I gained valuable experience within the CDMO market, Siegfried Portfolio, and strategy. During my role as an assistant, I started my further education in business administration to expand my knowledge. Within my study I chose to specialize in organizational development as a minor. Coincidentally, the Head of Learning and Development in Global HR was seeking someone for their team in organization development and performance management, which was a perfect fit for me. Since then, I’ve been a part of this team, contributing to various growth and development initiatives within the global organization.
There isn’t a typical day for me, and I really enjoy that aspect of my role. It’s split about half and half between exciting projects and ensuring everything runs smoothly. I handle various tasks related to performance management, talent management, learning and development, and more. Every day presents different challenges and opportunities to contribute to the organization’s goals.
What I really like about Siegfried is the chance to grow. There are plenty of opportunities here if you’re willing to pursue them. And the people – that’s something special. Even though we’re part of a global network and I might not know everyone personally, there’s still a sense of unity among us. It feels like we’re all in it together, and that’s something I genuinely appreciate.
I’m genuinely excited to see how far Siegfried will go in the future. Being closely involved with the HR strategy within my colleagues, I’m curious to witness the evolution and growth ahead of us. It’s going to be an interesting journey, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.
