Expect to flourish

My relationship with Siegfried goes back a long way; my practice partner during my studies was the Hameln Group (partly acquired by Siegfried in 2014). After completing my studies in 2015, I took up the position of Junior Controller. In the time that followed, I was able to learn a great deal from practical experience, but also put a lot of what I’d learned into practice.

What I enjoy about working at Siegfried is that I am able to constantly develop and evolve. After my role as a Junior Controller, I joined a team of three controllers, four accountants and the Head of Finance, to manage a portfolio of more than 1,300 products in all relevant aspects, such as manufacturing costs, production reporting and profitability analysis, collating information from all divisions.

In March 2022, I took on the role of Head of Controlling, where I coordinated my small team here on site. In February 2023, I started my latest chapter, as Head of Finance and Controlling for the Hameln site.

Some might hear the word “controller” and picture a boring number-crunching job, but I find my work very varied and exciting – every day is different.
